For the 2024-2025 season at Maltz Jupiter Theatre, our 3nd show was Frozen the Musical. For this show, I assisted in the build process, making the coronation platform, Ice shards for “Let It Go” and a snow ground row unit. I then assisted in load-in, doing a soft goods changeover, putting together the set and assisting props with their load-in and shift from the rehearsal room. Going into tech I was head of run crew with 7 people on the crew and 2 Assistant Stage Managers backstage. I worked closely with the ASMs to make a run sheet for the crew, deciding who would accomplish each set move and fly move. While making sure the crew completed each move properly, during the run I was also on the fly team doing multi-personnel fly moves, moving set pieces on and off stage and working with the ASMs to maintain actor safety on stage. one of the big scenic moves was the stair case for “Let It Go” that I was inside of with our Head of Wardrobe, Sophia Lombardo. we moved the stair case on stage with only spike tape as our path, Sophia would then pull Elsa’s dress while I set off confetti and then I would rotate the staircase for the final look of the act. We would then go into a large intermission change over out of “Let It Go” and into the Oakens Tavern scene with a large flat as the sauna. Some of my other duties included pre-show consumables restock, scenic and props pre-set and post-set, as well as a fly safety check each morning.

I created this sheet for our fly crew pulling all cues from the full crew run sheet so there was a separate, less busy sheet, for them to track during the show. I also colour-coded each person’s name for easier/quicker reading for each crew member.

created by Assistant Stage Manager, Grace Cirillo, I assisted in assigning crew members to each cue and helping make the sheet easily readable and up to date one unit names.
